The General Assembly of the States parties of the World Heritage Convention takes place every two years as part of the UNESCO General Conference. The General Assembly above all makes decisions regarding the scale of contributions to the World Heritage Fund and makes decisions regarding membership of the World Heritage Committee.
The General Assembly runs its meetings according to its Rules of Procedure.
