The venue is barrier-free, accessible and adapted for people with disabilities and special needs. A first aid service and an ambulance will be available at the ICE Kraków at all times during the Session.
The Opening Ceremony will take place on 2 July at a different venue - Wawel Hill in Kraków. Only registered participants with valid invitations will be allowed to attend. Please make sure to collect your personal invitation beforehand at the on-site registration desk at the ICE Kraków. Getting to the ICE Congress Centre
The ICE can be reached by public transport:
- approx 30 min from Kraków Airport
- approx 15 min from the Main Train Station and the Old Town
The bus stop near the ICE is ‘Centrum Kongresowe ICE’.
Why not take in Krakow's picturesque streets with their historic architecture by walking to the ICE:
- 25 min on foot from the Main Square
- 15 min on foot from Wawel Hill
All participants will receive a free travel card for Kraków public transport. The public transport timetable is available here. You can also check your transport connections here.
Participants can order taxis at their own expense, either from hotel receptions or from the registration desk at the ICE.
Please note that, for security reasons, parking at the ICE will not be available. You can use public parking spaces wherevever possible. However, please bear in mind that Kraków is divided into paid parking zones. The ICE is situated in between paid and free of charge parking zones. The paid parking zone is chargeable from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 8 pm. You will pay 3,00 PLN for 1 hour. For more information, click here.
Registration desk
The onsite registration desk, situated at the entrance of the ICE Krakow, will be open from 29 June (between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm) and from 30 June until 1 July 2017 between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. During the Session, from 2 until 10 July 2017, the registration desk will be open between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.
Registration is mandatory and only participants with badges will be allowed to enter the ICE.
All participants are encouraged to present themselves at the on-site reception desk before the opening of the Session on 2 July in order to allow a smooth registration process. Please note that, due to safety checks and the high number of visitors expected, this process may take a while. We thank you in advance for your patience.
Internet
Free wireless Internet access will be provided throughout the Conference Centre at all times. An area equipped with a limited number of computers with internet access, as well as docking stations for portable devices, will be available for all participants. Should you require help, our staff will be on hand to assist you at all times.
For ecological reasons, only one printed set of documents related to the 41st Session will be available for each Committee member delegation. All other delegates are kindly requested to bring their own copies or to make use of the memory stick containing all relevant documents for the Session, which will be provided to all participants upon registration. Documents will also be accessible online six weeks prior to the opening of the Session. This is in line with our aims to honour a shared responsibility for our environment.
Meals and Refreshments
During the 41st Session, coffee, tea, water and small refreshments will be offered outside the main meeting room free of charge. At lunchtime, several meal options will be available (for a fee) in the restaurant area of the ICE Kraków. You can also take advantage of the city’s extensive range of eateries and taste local specialties or opt for cuisine from around the world.
Prayer Room
A Prayer Room will be open to participants during the entire Committee Session.
